Now anybody is strong enough and any boat is big enough for serious sport fishing! The Arrigoni Samson Post gives you the leverage to fight and land the big ones. For boats lacking space for fighting chairs, the Arrigoni Samson Post provides a standing fighting station requiring only a 12″ turning radius. Insert your straight or bent-butt rod into the gimbaled holder – when a fish strikes, use the full 45-degree fighting arc. Our post enhances your strength and reduces reeling fatigue by providing both a fulcrum for your rod and a cushioned brace for your body. Adjust the height as needed for maximum rod control and comfort. Performance engineered, constructed of 304 stainless steel, and electro polished for a lasting and durable finish. Perfect for center consoles or large offshore sport fishermen (extra fighting stations are always a good idea!). Extremely simple installation using your existing pedestal plate or drill into any flat surface on your deck. Anodized adjustable height aluminum pedestal, matching flush deck plate and all mounting hardware included. With our pedestal system you can easily replace the Samson Post with a table or launcher when not in use.

• Stainless steel rod holder – flanged and gimbaled – for straight or bent-butt rod
• Two additional stainless steel rod holders – securely welded for added strength and rigidity
• Stainless steel trolling pin to the use post as a striking rod holder; simple remove for fighting
• Full 45-degree fighting arc
• Cushioned thigh brace: Enhances leverage, provides comfortable body support
